A mini-pitch brings activity to spaces that are hardly used otherwise: a park, an old kickabout area, the space next to a youth centre or a former tennis court. It is open to everyone, for all ages, and needs no supervision.
For the council, what counts is what comes after the opening: the facilities are hot-dip galvanised, structurally certified and virtually maintenance-free, and spare parts come straight from the manufacturer.
Alongside councils, charities and foundations build with SoccerGround too: the Johanniter, the Lukas Podolski Foundation, the Kinder- und Jugenddorf Klinge youth village and the DPSG scouts in Germany, and Street Soccer USA.
Tested as a complete system by TÜV Rheinland and certified to EN 15312 for freely accessible multi-sport equipment. The doors in the goals are TÜV-approved as emergency exits.
The Classic's steel frame is already exceptionally well protected against damage. For sites that see a lot of vandalism, the round Cage Antivandal has a twin-wire mesh ball stop and a lockable door.
Double-walled sandwich boards with a sound-absorbing foam core: the pitch is markedly quieter than boards of sheet metal or wood.
Hot-dip galvanised steel, virtually maintenance-free. The maintenance guide is available to download; service and spare parts come straight from the manufacturer.
With LED floodlights the pitch can be used into the evening, and with multisport modules also for basketball, volleyball and badminton.
