Altadena, CA, USA
Altadena has a new place to play and learn: the UNIQLO Street Soccer Park & Learning Center brings two pitches to the grounds of St. Elizabeth Parish School, built with our SoccerGround Advanced.
The park was created for children, young people and families in the neighbourhoods hit by the Eaton Fire in January 2025. It was made possible by Fast Retailing and UNIQLO's pledge of up to 2 million US dollars in funds and clothing for the communities affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. It opened on 9 July 2026.
Next to the two artificial turf pitches, a converted shipping container serves as a classroom. Street Soccer USA runs free football programmes here all year round, along with homework help, mentoring and financial and digital literacy courses, and aims to reach 1,000 young people in the first year. After Watts and South Gate, it is Street Soccer USA's third free-to-play community hub in Los Angeles.
