The system

The SoccerGround mini-pitch is the board system of the 1,006 DFB mini-pitches: 1 m high sound-insulated sandwich-panel boards, goals with doors built into the steel structure, ball-stop nets behind both goals, all steel hot-dip galvanised. Tested as a complete system by TÜV Rheinland and certified to DIN EN 15312 for freely accessible multi-sport equipment, so the pitch can be used unsupervised.

The pitch comes in two constructions that differ only in how they stand on the ground: the Classic is set in concrete with posts in socket foundations, the Advanced stands free, usually without foundations. Boards, goals, nets, sizes and options are the same, and both are designed in the same configurator.

Which construction suits your site?

The difference is the ground, not the sturdiness.

Anchored

SoccerGround Classic

The posts are set in concrete socket foundations, as in sports-ground construction to DIN 18035 Part 7. The system of the 1,006 DFB mini-pitches.

The ground

The soil is excavated, filled with sand, gravel and chippings and compacted, then the socket foundations are built to our construction plan. A local contractor usually does this work.

Typical for

Sports grounds, schools, clubs, councils: sites that are being laid out anew.

Choose the Classic if the ground is being rebuilt anyway or the pitch will stay in this place for good.

Free-standing

SoccerGround Advanced

Stands free on the existing ground, usually without foundations*: a structurally certified steel handrail makes the system rigid, so the boards cannot bend or tip.

The ground

A level, load-bearing surface is enough, for example asphalt, concrete or paving. Nothing is dug up, and the pitch can even be moved later.

Typical for

Schoolyards, car parks, rooftops and sites that must not be altered.

Choose the Advanced if the surface is already paved, foundations would be costly or the site is not final.

* Large pitches, multi-sport equipment and roof nets usually require a few ground anchors.

You don't have to decide now. In the configurator you design your pitch with size, colours and options; which construction suits your site, we work out with you from the ground. The two systems compared (PDF)

The same pitch, different equipment

Variants of the mini-pitch for special needs, each as Classic or Advanced.

Pitch and goal sizes

The size can be chosen freely, depending on the available space, the target group and the number of players. Several mini-pitches can be combined, so that games run side by side, board to board.
