Free-standing. The same pitch is also available anchored, with posts set in concrete: SoccerGround Classic · Classic or Advanced? The comparison
The SoccerGround Advanced is our free-standing stationary system: just as sturdy and built for many years of outdoor use as the Classic, the original DFB mini-pitch. It needs no foundations, grooves or other recesses*: the system simply stands on top of the ground.
That makes it the alternative to an anchored system if the ground must not be altered, the pitch is to be moved later, or foundations would be costly. You save the effort and cost of socket foundations.
The Advanced requires no ground anchoring*. The only requirement is a level surface with a stable, load-bearing subgrade, for example asphalt or concrete.
As no holes are made in the ground, the pitch can even be moved to a new location after a few years.
* Large pitches, multi-sport equipment and roof nets usually require a few ground anchors.
As with the Classic, the size can be chosen freely, depending on the available space, the target group and the number of players. Several mini-pitches can be combined board to board.
Professional artificial turf with a shock-absorbing layer, or a synthetic surface for a multi-sport court.
