Rastatt, Germany
At the Karlschule in Rastatt, exercise, play and togetherness are now even more at the heart of school life: next to the sports hall, the new SoccerGround mini-pitch and a bouldering wall are finished. From now on, pupils can use both during lessons and break times.
We built a SoccerGround Classic Antivandal with steel mesh ball stops at the goal ends and basketball equipment, on Polytan artificial turf with shock pads. The pitch and the bouldering wall are the first building works at the school under Germany's Startchancen programme for schools with many disadvantaged pupils.
