Weichering in Germany has a new attraction: the area around the sledging hill, known as the Froschlache, near the Sparkasse bank, was due for a major upgrade. "Originally we only thought of play equipment," says mayor Thomas Mack. But some young people visited him at the town hall and suggested a soccer court.
Now there is a SoccerGround Advanced, 20 x 13 m, with ball-stop netting all round and Polytan artificial turf.
