Dortmund, Germany
ROOTS stands for Respekt, Offenheit, Ordnung, Teamgeist und Schule: respect, openness, order, team spirit and school. At the ROOTS shared homes in Dortmund, Germany, Werner Krause and his team have created a home for many young men, whatever their background, and a basis for their future through education and training.
The small-sided pitch, a SoccerGround Portable of 20 x 13 m installed permanently, was built entirely by the team themselves and has been very popular ever since.
