When TuS »Elmerborg« Altenbüren issued a rallying cry in March, encouraging everyone to stay in shape, even under pandemic-relatted restrictions, 26 teams comprising 140 members followed their lead. TuS sportsmen and women, along with many active citizens of Altenbüren achieved almost unbelievable sporting results. Together, participants completed over 11,500 exercises. They cycled over 30,000 km, for example, and hiked 12,400 kilometres, covering an imaginary trail to Moscow and back ... three times over.
Not forgetting further endurance activities such as rowing or treadmill running at home. With immediate effect, these indefatigible athletes can enjoy the benefits of a multisport pitch as they strive for even higher levels of fitness. We are delighted to be a part of this sporting community.
