A MUGA, a multi-use games area, is an enclosed outdoor court on which several sports can be played on the same surface: football, basketball and more, for schools, parks, housing developments and clubs. SoccerGround builds it with rebound boards: 1 m high, sound-insulated panels around the playing area, with ball-stop nets above them. The boards keep the ball in play, so there is no out and the game is fast, with lots of touches.
SoccerGround develops and manufactures its pitches in Hennef, Germany. We built the 1,019 Mini-Pitches of the German Football Association (DFB), and today 4,233 of our pitches stand in 29 countries.
Goals with basketball hoops above them and a height-adjustable net from 1.3 m to 2.4 m: football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, football tennis and handball on one surface.
Rebound boards 1 m high, made of double-walled, metal-coated sandwich panels with a sound-absorbing foam core; ball-stop nets 4 m high behind the goals, side nets 3, 4 or 5 m, a roof net on request.
A synthetic surface, smooth and non-slip with good ball roll and bounce, usable all year round; or artificial turf with quartz sand if football comes first.
All steel hot-dip galvanised, doors in the goals approved as emergency exits, no finger traps or sharp edges. Tested by TÜV Rheinland to DIN EN 15312 for unsupervised use.
Many people call an enclosed pitch like this a football cage. Where there are only a few metres to spare, the round SoccerGround Cage Antivandal fits: approx. 5 m in diameter, steel, with a mesh ball stop, two mini goals and a lockable door. For events there is the Cage Mobile.
From 15 x 10 m to 40 x 20 m, chosen to suit the space, the users and the sports. Any other size is available on request, and several courts can be combined board to board.

The new Mini-Pitch at Bildungshaus Winkelwiese has created an attractive space for play and movement that adds an important sporting element to what the education centre offers. Here, things go beyond classic learning: Team spirit and fair play are strengthened as a matter of course.
Near the swimming pool, a leisure park with a skate park and a multi-sport court was designed together with children and young people. The municipality invested around 1.2 million euros in the project, which the teenagers of Ichtershausen and the surrounding area in particular had wanted for a long time. The skate park is aimed at skaters of every level. On a pump track, cyclists and scooter riders get their turn. And the multi-sport court is open to all kinds of ball games. The leisure park also offers plenty of places to linger, chat and celebrate.
