Pitch with rebound boards at Marlborough Playground, London

Small-Sided Football for Children 3v3 and Funino: the pitch for it

Small teams, small pitches, more touches

From the 2026-27 season, England Football's format for U7s is 3v3: no goalkeepers, no match officials, short games of 6 to 10 minutes and children rotating between pitches, so everyone plays a lot. U8 and U9 play 5v5, U10 and U11 7v7. England Football

SoccerGround built the 1,019 Mini-Pitches of the German Football Association (DFB) and builds pitches with rebound boards in any size, including the sizes these formats call for.

Not about results

England Football's 3v3 is non-competitive: short games, every child playing, no results or league tables mentioned.

The SoccerGround pitch for 3v3

Sizes that fit

Our 15 x 10 m pitch is exactly England Football's recommended 3v3 size, and 20 x 13 m stays within its maximum. For 5v5 or Funino we build larger pitches, in any size on request.

Rebound boards and nets

1 m sound-insulated boards keep the ball on the pitch, ball-stop nets keep it out of the road. Where the rules ask for dribble-ins, they apply at the boards; in training and free play the ball simply stays in play.

Several pitches side by side

Pitches can be combined board to board, so several games run at the same time, as in England Football's rotation between pitches.

Built for unsupervised play

Tested as a complete system by TÜV Rheinland and certified to DIN EN 15312 for freely accessible multi-sport equipment; no finger traps or sharp edges.

Portable for festivals and tournaments

For festivals, tournaments and events there is the SoccerGround Portable: set up without ground anchoring on grass, artificial turf, tarmac or a sports hall floor by two or three people in about one to two hours. Its modular boards, 1 to 3 m long, make almost any pitch size possible, and pitches up to 15 x 10 m fit on a car trailer.
