In youth soccer the youngest now play small-sided games on small fields, as U.S. Soccer recommends: more touches, more goals, more fun. A mini-pitch gives these games a home of their own, takes pressure off the main field and can be used in any weather.
The boards keep the ball in play, the goals are built into the steel structure. The system is the one used for the 1,006 DFB mini-pitches, for which more than 4,000 schools and clubs applied in 2008.
Soccer associations build with SoccerGround for their clubs too: after the 1,006 fields of the DFB (the German Football Association), the Brandenburg association built another 84 and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania 15.
From 50' x 32' for 3v3 to 131' x 66' for 7v7: the sizes suit small-sided formats from U6 to U12.
Artificial turf with quartz sand or a shock pad, and LED floodlights: the field can be used in winter and in the evening.
Durable full-color prints or vinyl wraps on the boards: your sponsors advertise year-round, and the field partly pays for itself.
Next to the main field, on an old tennis court or the clubhouse parking lot: the Advanced usually stands on existing asphalt without foundations.
For summer camps, indoor tournaments and club events there is the Portable: set up by 2–3 people in 1–2 hours, on any level surface.
Many foundations and cities fund new soccer facilities, for example through the U.S. Soccer Foundation's mini-pitch program. We provide the quote, drawings and product documents for your application.
