On a school campus a mini-pitch is in use all day: in PE classes, at recess and in after-school programs. The boards keep the ball in play, the goals are built into the steel structure, and because the field may be used without constant supervision, it can stay open after school too.
SoccerGround engineers and makes its fields in Hennef, Germany. Advice, planning, engineering, production and installation come from one source, from the first drawing to the finished field.
Preschools play on SoccerGround too, such as the Kita Spatzennest daycare in Augsburg, Germany: on small fields from 50' x 32', smaller on request.
Tested as a complete system by TÜV Rheinland, the independent German testing body, and certified to EN 15312 for freely accessible multi-sport equipment: the field may be used without constant supervision. The doors in the goals are TÜV-approved as emergency exits.
The 3.3' high boards are double-walled, metal-coated sandwich panels with a special sound-absorbing foam core. That matters when the field is next to classrooms or homes.
The SoccerGround Advanced stands free on a level, load-bearing surface such as asphalt or paving, usually without foundations. Nothing is dug up, and if the space is needed differently later, the field can be moved.
Hot-dip galvanized steel, structurally certified, long-lasting and virtually maintenance-free. If something is ever needed, maintenance, service and spare parts come straight from the manufacturer.
With the SoccerGround Multisport the field becomes a sports facility for PE: basketball hoops above the goals and a continuously height-adjustable net for volleyball, badminton and soccer tennis. Six sports on one surface.
The boards can carry durable full-color prints or vinyl wraps, with the school's logo or the local businesses that support the field.
The difference is the ground, not the sturdiness. We work out with you which construction suits your site.

Learn more →In 2008 the DFB (German Football Association) decided to actively promote soccer as a school and grassroots sport, and to use play to help integrate kids and young people. More than 4,000 schools and clubs applied for the DFB grant, which covered the cost of the entire field (excluding groundwork).
1,000 mini-pitches were planned and 1,006 SoccerGround courts were built, funded by the proceeds of the 2006 World Cup and UEFA. Spread evenly across Germany's 21 regional soccer associations, they give as many kids as possible a field nearby. Following the DFB's example, the Brandenburg Football Association built another 84, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania 15, and many other clients around 300 additional SoccerGround fields.
From 50' x 32' for 3v3 to 131' x 66' for 7v7. The DFB size is 65' x 42'. Any other size is available on request.
