Wilnsdorf-Wilgersdorf, Germany
With an old pitch which was unsuitable for wet weather and a surface quite likely to cause injuries, the school came up with the idea to set up a mini pitch so that children could still play football on rainy days.
Fortunately, a grant from the 3-Länder-Eck region was approved by Arnsberg district government, and the multi-sports pitch project began in April.
By July, the court was fully operational, to the delight of schoolchildren who can now play games during breaks and after school into the late afternoon.
“The multpurpose pitches give children and youngsters the opportunity to try out different sports and make new friends through sport!" . SoccerGround wishes them lot of fun!
