Ammerndorf, Germany
TSV Ammerndorf in Germany was founded as a gymnastics club on February 10, 1924, making it one of the oldest clubs in the village. In 1949 it started over as Sportverein Ammerndorf 1924. A great story from the club's website: the Ammerndorf dairy supplied the club with hot water, carried to the field in milk cans before every game. Since its 50th anniversary in 1974, the club has kept growing, with new buildings and playing areas, including for tennis.
Almost a century after it was founded, we got to build a mini-pitch in the club's traditional blue: a SoccerGround Classic, 78' x 50', with 13' perimeter ball-stop netting, equipment for basketball and volleyball and Polytan LigaGrass Synergy turf. We wish the club lots of fun and many more years of sports!
