Köln, Germany
At Sürther Straße 201 in Cologne-Rodenkirchen, Germany, the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt elementary school has a new building. The school follows an inclusive approach where kids with and without disabilities learn together. As the old building was not accessible, the school was rebuilt: sustainably, to a design by the firm "Drei Architekten", with two solar arrays, a double gym and schoolyards for 650 students.
The new campus also has a small-sided court: a SoccerGround Classic in the size of the DFB mini-pitches, 65' x 42', with basketball equipment and a bright green multisport surface from Polytan.
