Torino, Italy
For the 2014 UEFA Europa League final, soccer came right into the center of Turin: two SoccerGround Advanced, each 65' x 42', stood on Piazza San Carlo, the baroque square at the heart of the city.
Between the arcades and lanterns of the piazza, kids and teens played on artificial turf, framed by boards in the colors of the UEFA Europa League and by ball-stop netting, while passersby stopped to watch all around.
The final itself was played on May 14, 2014, at Juventus Stadium: Sevilla beat Benfica 4–2 on penalties after a 0–0 draw.
